The cost of chronic wounds in Australia is estimated to be $3 Billion per year, with anywhere form 340,000 people affected by wounds at any given time. Not only is this a national economic concern, but more importantly, is the suffering the person may be going through. At WoundRescue, our mission is to heal lives, not just wounds! We do this by collaborating with clinicians and patients to enhance knowledge, build capacity, embed evidence-based practice, and relieve the symptoms of wounds for the person through our referral pathway.
To heal a wound, health care teams need to have a sound knowledge of the fundamentals of wound care. You can apply many different wound products to a wound but if you are not managing the person holistically you will not receive the full benefit of optimal wound care. We can educate you and your team on ways to incorporate a holistic wound management program in a fun and energetic way....so if you want to leave feeling motivated ask for a quote today!
